About College
In the premises of Vishnu Pharmaceuticals and Nursing Home, which was founded in 1991, Vishnu Ayurveda College was founded in 2002. With an annual intake of 50 seats, the college is associated with Kerala’s Calicut University. The land, buildings, equipment, factory, and hospital that were already there were all combined and made a component of the college. As a result, the institution was established with all the necessary amenities, including dorms for men and women. The college is connected to Thrissur’s Kerala University of Health Sciences.
In 2010, as part of the hospital’s expansion, the college bought the neighboring Sanjeevani, a reputable, long-standing allopathic hospital with fifty beds. The college is equipped with every kind of infrastructure. Both the hospital and the college are larger than what is needed to house 100 pupils. The classrooms are set out like galleries.
The college hospital is next to the college but separate from it at the same time. Corridors connect the hospital and college, making it easier for instructors and students to visit the hospital and bring a patient in for a demonstration.
