The Shri Vivekanand Nursing Home organization was founded in 1973 as a charitable organization with the goal of providing healthcare and education to rural areas. With the intention of educating people, the Trust established an Ayurvedic College in 1991 that initially could accommodate 50 students annually and offered the BAMS programme. In 1999 and 2000, Trust raised its admission capacity from 50 to 60 students in response to the rural population’s desperate need for medical education. Permission for Trust to pursue Post Graduate M.D./M.S. (Ayurveda) was given in the same year. for eleven seats annually in three different subjects (Kayakishitsa, Stree Rog, and Prasuti Tantra). Ayurveda Trust has expanded the intake of two topics (Kayachikitsa & Prasuti Tantra) and launched Post Graduate programs in three additional subjects (Ras Shastra, Rognidan, & Shalakya Tantra) in response to student demand in the discipline. between 2008 and 2009. From 2008 to 2009, the M.D./M.S. (Ayurveda) program has a total capacity of 27 seats per year.
