About College
2010 saw the establishment of Smt. Vimladevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital by Shri Gurukrupa Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi [CCIM] created and oversees the college’s undergraduate Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery program, which has been authorized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s AYUSH Department. The State Government of Maharashtra has acknowledged the college, which is associated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
Since October2010, SGSPM has been effectively running the Smt. Vimladevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital and offering B.A.M.S. degree courses. The College can accept up to 60 new students per semester. This college offers its students all the resources necessary to help them advance their knowledge and abilities in the field of Ayurveda through conceptual study and hands-on application. Generation after generation of students has received our instruction, shaping them into exceptional Ayurvedic practitioners and knowledgeable instructors.
On 13.75 acres of grounds, the college boasts around 2000 Ayurvedic plants representing over 275 species. Ayurved Samhita & Siddhant, Rachana Sharir, Kriya Sharir, DravyagunaVigyana, Rasa Shastra & Bhaisajya Kalpana, Rog Nidan&Vikriti Vigyan, Swasthvritta& Yoga, Agad Tantra & Vidhi Vaidyaka, Kayachikitsa, Panchkarma, Shalyatantra + (Ksharsutra Lab.), Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti &Stri Rog, and Kamarbhritya – Bala Rog are among the well-equipped departments that the college offers. These departments provide the necessary facilities and needs. In our institute’s pharmacy, Ayurvedic medicines are prepared by the Rasa Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana department.
