One of the most reputable private ayurvedic colleges in Uttar Pradesh is Vaidya Yagya Dutt Sharma Ayurved Mahavidyalaya College. With permission from the Central Council of Indian Medical Association, New Delhi, and affiliation with C.C.S. University Merrut, V.Y.D.S. Ayurved College, Kharja is the first private Ayurvedic college in Uttar Pradesh in all categories. This affiliation dates back to 2002.
Located on the Delhi-Kanpur G.T.Road, National Highway No. 91, Vaidya Yagya Dutt Sharma Ayurved Mahavidyalaya College is 12 km from Bulandshahr and 5 km from Khurja, directly across from Dharpa Power House. The facility is located on more than 11 acres of property, and there are plans to expand it and add separate dorms for boys and girls, a pharmacy, and a hospital.
The college is affiliated with two hospitals: the first, Purana Bazar, is located in the center of the city, and the second, which has 220 beds indoors and is housed in the college’s new building, has eight specialized OPDs with casualty facilities as well as all modern and ayurvedic management facilities, along with Semi ICU. The college also has two rural P.H.C.s and a mobile clinic in an ambulance. Super specialized Ayurvedic treatments such as Kshar Sutra, Agni Karma, Kshar Karma, Jalauka Therapy, etc. are available in the hospital along with all the contemporary amenities such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, hematology, sputum, urine tests, ECG, and EEG, and twenty-five different types of blood.
