About College
The Sri Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute, located in Nrusinghnath Paikmal, Bargarh, was founded in 1981 and has successfully completed more than three decades of operation with the help and dedication of Late Dr. Krupa Sindhu Bhoi, who was a Minister and Member of Parliament for Sambalpur at the time, as well as Sri Satya Bhusan Sahu, a former chief whip and MLA who currently serves as the president of the governing body of S.S.N. Ayurved College & R.I. Nrusinghnath.
It was properly managed by a society registration under the Society Registration Act of 1860 when it was founded in 1981. This college is located in the Dist. Bargarh, close to Nrusinghnath, Paikmal, at the base of the well-known Gandhamardhan Hill in a scenic area. It is 35 kilometres from Nuapada Road Railway Station and 160 kilometres from Raipur Airport. This college is situated on twenty-five acres of land, appropriately equipped with a library with reading materials, a dissection hall, a herbal garden, and well-equipped laboratories.
With its state-of-the-art facilities and high-tech panchakarma unit, Dr. K.S. Bhoi Ayurved Chikitsalaya is affiliated with the S.S.N. Ayurved Medical College & Research Institute. Eight outpatient departments (OPDs) are operated by the hospital: Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra, Shakya Tantra, Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga, Kaumarabhritya (Balaroga), Swasthavritta evam Yoga & Atayayika (Emergency), where patients receive consultation from concerned specialists.Every day, between 120 and 160 patients use these facilities.
