About College
August 1997 saw the establishment of Sri Siddhrameshwar Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre. With an annual admission of 60 students, the institution has changed over time. Recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine & Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, the College of Ayurved is a constituent institution of Yellaling Education Trust. The college is approved by the Department of Ayush, Government of India, the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, the Government of Karnataka, and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The college has the necessary resources in every area to offer the courses as required by the area of AYUSH, CCIM, and RGUHS, three statutory bodies.
The educational facility is connected to a hospital with 60 beds. Projectors are installed in the classrooms, and state-of-the-art equipment is used in the laboratories to create controlled environments for conducting scientific research and dissection. Additionally, the college has a Herbal Garden.
Concerning Hospital
The hospital features a hospital wing that is well-planned, furnished, and situated in a serene area, providing the community with excellent services. Witt department of various specialties, including Atyayika (Casualty), Kaumarabhritya, Prasuti & Steroga, Shalya tantra, and Kayachikitsa.
The hospital features an inpatient section with distinct general wards for men and women, as well as semi-special and special wards for each specialized area.In order to treat patients more effectively, the hospital features state-of-the-art, complex panchakarma theaters combined with a traditional, classical touch.
The hospital’s completely committed Shalya tantra department performs Ksharakarma, Agnikarma, Rakta Mokshana, and parasurgical operations. It also has one main and one small operating theater.
The hospital offers a state-of-the-art X-ray and laboratory with highly skilled technicians on staff.
The hospital’s six-bed intensive care unit is equipped with oxygen and a central section monitor, as well as ventilators and defibrillators.
The hospital’s clinical laboratory is well furnished and used for all routine tests.
