Gottal, Shri C.B. The Department of Ayush in New Delhi and the Government of Karnataka granted permission for the Shri C.B. Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital in Dharwad to offer the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) program in 2004. The college can accommodate up to 50 students annually.
Situated on a private 14-acre site, the Shri C.B. Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital operates alongside a herbal garden. The campus is easily accessible at Mummigatti, Dharwad’s Garag intersection on the Pune-Bangalore National Highway (NH4). The facility is conveniently located next to the Karnataka High Court and has excellent access to Dharwad. The college is furnished with state-of-the-art medical and scientific equipment, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, skilled instructors, an auditorium, and well-designed classrooms. There are hostel facilities at the institute.
The institute’s mission is to identify community health needs, uphold national health policies, and fulfill professional duties in an ethical and equitable manner. Consequently, people will be able to live their entire lives in a state of calm, purpose, morality, ethics, and physical health. Our motto, “Right for rightful health sciences education,” makes all of them feasible. The teaching staff at Shri C.B. Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College is distinguished and highly qualified, with a combined teaching background of more than 200 years. Less than a 1:8 teacher-to-student ratio is maintained at the institute. Throughout all of the college’s extracurricular and curricular activities, the teaching staff works closely with the students.
An associate of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, Karnataka, is the Shri C.B. Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College. The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi, has recognized the institute for admissions, and the Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, has approved it.
The CBGAMC hostel provides guests with all the comforts they need to have a comfortable study stay. Every room in the hostel has enough amenities for a comfortable and study-friendly stay, and it is kept up and maintained.
Inside the hostel, there are mess facilities and a clean, well-maintained dining hall where our prisoners can have good, clean food.
The hostel warden will be in charge of overseeing both quality and efficiency.
