About College
On November 30, 1973 (a Friday), the then-Health Minister, Shri Kedar Pandey, officially opened the Shri Motisingh Jageshwari Ayurved College & Hospital. In 1974, the institution opened for enrollment and began offering instruction to 20 students. The college’s first principal, Dr. Sitaram Verma, received the MRCP designation. In charge of instruction were Shri Rishi Kumar Pathak and Shri Raghuvansh Bhushan Ojha.
Following this, it was given consideration as a new college by the Central Medical Council of India. However, following the college’s clarification, an election was held by the Central Medical Council of India on May 11, 1999, which approved the enrollment of forty students.
Under the direction of Shri Ramsunder Das, the Shri Moti Memorial Society was established to oversee the college’s operations. The college holds government registration. A thorough action plan has been created in accordance with the Central Medical Council of India’s requirements for the college’s development.
In this sense, it is being created as a hospital that will combine Ayurvedic therapy with contemporary surgical management. In addition to helping the students learn, this will also help the patients in general. For those in need, there is a system of free medical care available. The best plans have been put in place for women’s safe delivery and baby care. On college property, a medicinal plant has been developed.
