About College
Founded in 1959, Shri Gurudeo Ayurved College is a private college located in Amravati. With an annual intake of 50 seats, the college is associated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, based in Maharashtra.
One of the great progressive saints of Maharashtra, Rev. Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj, founded the Gurukunj Ashram in 1959. It is currently operated by The Akhil Bhartiya Shri Gurudeo Sevamandal. The hospital and ayurvedic college, known as the Gurukunj Ashram, is located in the district of Amravati.
Over the past forty years, the institute has been providing unwavering patient care since its founding. Serving the patients in the surrounding area is a great tradition of the institute. On July 16, 1992, the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, authorized the institute. The Maharashtra government provides grant-in-aid to the institute.
Maharashtra Health Sciences University, located in Nashik. The University’s Academic Council and Board of Studies oversee academic and examination-related matters.
