Founded in 1992, Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is a private college located in Yavatmal. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, which is situated in Maharashtra, is connected to the college.
Pusad Town is home to the social trust Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan. The resolution to erect the temple of Shri Gajanan Maharaj was passed on September 15, 1977, to provide the local devotees with an opportunity. A massive, double-story temple was constructed on 10,000 square feet of land. On April 26, 1982, on the auspicious festival of Akshyaya Tritiya, the idol of Shri Gajanan Maharaj was chosen.The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) in Delhi and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) in Nasik are affiliated with B.A.M.S. College. The college operates as one of the most prestigious Ayurvedic colleges while adhering to all government regulations.
