About College
Establishing the Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College in 1957 was Mahant Shri Shryonath ji. He was a well-known Vaidya who knew everything there was to know about Nadi Vigyan.The rural population, who make up the weakest segment of the country, is the reason the college was founded. This ayurveda college was the first in Haryana to offer ayurvedic education. The college is authorized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi, and CCIM. This is one of the Indian institutes that has 60 seats available for its BAMS undergraduate program.
The college’s reputation has been built on its well-equipped hospital, which includes a central pharmacy, laboratory, and herbal garden, as well as its committed faculty and library. There are fourteen departments in this college.
Under the auspices of Shri Baba Mastnath Math, Asthal Bohar, Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, is a privately funded institution of higher learning that was established in 2012 by an ordinance of the Haryana government under the Haryana Private Universities Act-2006. An expert team of UGC members gave the University clearance under Section 2(f) following a comprehensive inspection. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of fields, including physiotherapy, nursing, sciences, pharmacy, humanities, management and commerce, law, naturopathy & Yogic sciences, engineering, education, mass media, computer sciences, languages like Hindi, Sanskrit, and English, social work, medical and para-medical, pharmacy, life, and basic sciences. The university has over 5000 students and 200+ faculty members.
