About College
Seth C.M. Aryangla Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya, Satara, is a private college founded in 1913. It is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Maharashtra, and has an annual intake of 53 seats. The college is located on the old Satara-Pune highway, near the city but outside of it. The college is situated outside the city but next to it on the Ram-Dhyana Mandir temple, which is located opposite the college building. The college building has its own herbal garden on three sides, providing a green canvas for the building. It is a two-story structure that is a fine example of architecture with stony elevations. The entrance hall features a beautiful statue of Lord Dhanvantari, which the students used to begin their daily college work by praying to Lord Dhanvantari.
The classrooms have enough of natural light and are properly ventilated. Every classroom can accommodate up to 100 pupils. All classrooms are equipped with an overhead projector, a slide projector, an LCD projector, and a TV DVI-D player. Every classroom has a large veranda. Male and female students have access to a neat and clean hall with restrooms. Aqua Guard & Water Cooler is a distinct setup for clean drinking water. Each department has its own museum, laboratory, and H.O.D. room. Every department has the necessary models and charts available. Located on the second floor is a spacious, well-ventilated dissection hall. distinct labs for Dravya Guna, Rasashashtra, Bhaishajya Kalpana, and Sharir Kriya. A state-of-the-art research methods laboratory for P.G. students is a singular example of its kind. The college is having a separate office for Principal & Vice Principal .Its own college office is where the administrative work is done. Teachers can use a teacher’s room to hold meetings with the principal and management.
