About College
Founded in 2010, SDM Institute of Ayurveda & Hospital is situated in Karnataka’s capital city. Modern facilities on the expansive campus enable students to receive high-quality Ayurvedic education, while patients can receive specialized Ayurvedic therapies. The college is connected to Bangalore’s Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. At the moment, the college has four batches of students on campus, with an intake of 100 undergraduate students per academic year. The first academic batch was admitted to the institution in 2015–16. The Institute’s academic block is a five-story structure that houses each of the fourteen teaching departments. There are museums, departmental libraries, staff rooms, teaching rooms, and demonstration spaces for each department.
Within a short period of time after its founding, the SDM Ayurveda hospital has received excellent reputation and word-of-mouth popularity from patients in Bangalore and beyond.
Seven clusters of outpatient departments are enabled by it, including Kayachikitsa (internal medicine), Panchakarma, Koumarbhritya (pediatrics), Shalya Tantra (surgery), Prasooti tantra evam Striroga (obstetrics and gynecology), and Swasthavrittha (preventive medicine, yoga, and naturopathy).
