About College
In Mahe, Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College (RGAMC) was founded in 2010 with the Department of AYUSH, Government of India, as its sponsor. The Puducherry government oversees the Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College Society (PKMCS), which is responsible for the operation of this institution. This college is the only one in South India to receive funding from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi.Pondicherry University was affiliated with the college.50 seats are available annually at the college offering the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery).
