About College
Dr. S.L. Arora, M.D., the original president of Punjab Medical Technical & General Educational Society, Patiala, established the organization in 1998 with the goal of providing medical education, namely in ayurveda, to the community. The association founded a paramedical sciences college in Patiala in 2000, however the idea went beyond this endeavor. In 2003, the management made the decision to open an Ayurvedic Medical College, with the goal of opening outpatient departments (OPDs) in Sri Ganganagar by 2004. May it be the gracious will of God that admissions to the BAMS program were not available in 2005–06.

When the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH (Govt. of India) gave us permission to start the BAMS course in 2008 with a 50 student capacity, our dream of admissions to this course came true. Additionally, Dr. S.R. Rajasthan Ayurved University Jodhpur affiliated our college with permission from the Rajasthan government. The college complies with all standards set forth by the CCIM, New Delhi, and will adhere to all CCIM rules, regulations, and curriculum. This was the outcome of the members of the society working together for this goal under the direction of founding president Dr. S.L. Arora.
