About College
Founded in 2005, Mannam Ayurveda Co-operative Medical College is situated at Mangaram, Pandalam. The Mannam Sugar Mills Co-operative Ltd. is the owner, financier, and operator of this self-financed college. The college is connected to both KUHS and the University of Kerala. Ayurvedic medicine and surgery bachelor’s degree programs are offered by the college.
Mannam Sugar Mills Co-operative Limited, a registered cooperative association with the Kerala government’s Department of Industries, is in charge of the college. In 1960, the association was founded by Shri Mannathu Padmanabhan. He was the Mannam Sugar Mills’ original founder and chairman. Later in 2005, the Mannam Sugar Mills Co-operative Limited opened a 100-bed Ayurvedic Hospital with OP and consultation available in eight departments, along with an Ayurvedic Medical College.
The MANNAM AYURVEDA CO-OPERATIVE MEDICAL COLLEGE was founded in Pandalam, the birthplace of LORD AYYAPPA, with the intention of advancing genuine Ayurvedic research and therapeutic approaches and equipping the next generation to confidently take on the challenges of healthcare.
