The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), a statutory body under the Ministry of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, Government of India, recognizes the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree as a medical qualification. Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science has applied to be affiliated with Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, in order to admit students to this program.The Government of India’s CCIM, Ministry of AYUSH, granted MRIAS permission to offer 100 seats in the BAMS UG programme.according to the instructions given by the Ministry of Ayush and CCIM New Delhi for the PCB and NEET Exam.Holders of a BAMS degree are qualified to practice Ayurvedic medicine anywhere in India and can apply for admission to postgraduate programs in Ayurveda (M.D. or M.S.) at any university that offers such programs.
