About College
Under the direction of the Karnataka Educational & Charitable Trust ®, the Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College Hospital was founded. It is a part of the Mangalore-based SCS Group of Institutions. Since its founding in 2002, the institution has served as the sole Ayurvedic college located in the center of Mangalore. There is a fully functional hospital within the college, complete with an Out Patient Department (OPD) and an In Patient Department (IPD). There are 160 in-patient beds in the facility. The hospital’s many sections provide the students with clinical training.Panchakarma therapy, Ksharasutra therapy, gyanaec and pediatric treatments, ophthalmology, general medicine, ENT, neurological problems, diabetes, obesity, skin diseases, and other therapeutic processes are among the therapies offered.
The full-time, committed, and highly skilled faculty at Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College includes experts in uncommon Ayurvedic specialties including Samhitha, Roganidana, Manasaroga, and Swasthavritta. To meet the needs of the general population, outpatients, and inpatients, the College maintains a pharmacy.
Over 500 different rare species of plants, trees, and herbs are beautifully arranged in a well-kept herbal garden that spans a large area. The administration and faculty at Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College are genuinely dedicated to providing excellent Ayurvedic education in accordance with high moral standards.
