About College
Governmental Ayurveda The Tamilnadu government founded the medical college and hospital in 2006 with the goal of guaranteeing efficient and organized guidance, education, training, research, and development in ayurvedic medicine. The first group of students was accepted for the 2009–10 school year. The public’s great interest in Ayurvedic medicines and therapies led to the establishment of the college in the Kanyakumari district.The college has a permanent affiliation with Tamilnadu’s TN MGR Medical University. Successful college students receive degrees from the university.
The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), which oversees Ayurvedic education nationwide, has accredited the college. It also establishes how many seats are available for undergraduate courses at the college. The college adheres to the curricula and policies set out by CCIM.
