Dayanand Ayurvedic College is a private college that was founded in Jallandhar in 1898. With a yearly intake of 50 seats, the college is associated with the Punjabi Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, headquartered in Faridkot.
This esteemed event is sponsored by the All India Ayurved Congress, the Punjab & Chandigarh Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine, Punjab, and Guru Ravidas Ayurvedic University, Hoshiarpur, according to Dr. Rakesh Sharma, dean of academics at the university.
Hospital: Sham Arora spoke to the public, stating that Ayurveda has been popular since the time of Hindu mythology. She asked Dr. Manoj Nesari to grant the Guru Ravidas Ayurved University in Hoshiarpur 50 beds, as well as permission to enter level 1 Covid patients into the Ayurvedic system.The college’s hospital, which currently has 63 beds—two of which are in the emergency department—serves the sick and provides training for students.
Regular OPDs are conducted by the college under the supervision of professionals. The only hospital in Punjab that offers Ayurvedic Multi Specialty Clinics is this one. Patients are effectively recovering from a variety of chronic illnesses by visiting the OPDs on a regular basis. There are also facilities accessible for minor OPD procedures.
