Belley Sankarpur Rajib Gandhi Memorial Ayurvedic College & Hospital

About College
Founded in 2002, Belley Sankarpur Rajib Gandhi Memorial Ayurved College & Hospital is a private college located in Kushdanga. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, has recognized the college, which is duly affiliated with the University of Calcutta (March 2002–2004). From this point forward, 50 seats are admitted annually to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, which is accredited by the West Bengal government’s Department of Health and Family Welfare. One of the goals of the B.S. Rajib Gandhi Memorial Ayurvedic Society is to develop the indigenous system in the context of human health care on a modern, up-to-date model international institute in Bengal. Regretfully, Bengal had been India’s pioneer since the tenth century A.D.

After a protracted battle, the society was able to establish an Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital in a remote, nostalgic village that was free of pollution. The inherent dream is to build a man-made hill, natural boating, and a healthy environment for the patient, all surrounded by medicinal plants used in Ayurveda.
