One of India’s oldest and most comprehensive health care systems, Ayurveda, is practiced and promoted by the private Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre. In 2004 the Ayurvedic College was opened to the public by the Honorable B.N. Prakash, Director of the Department of Ayush in Bangalore.
Ayurveda is a living science that promotes healing and a balanced, healthy lifestyle through the use of natural medicines.With the goal of empowering students in the area of Ayurveda, Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College is a center for excellence in skill development. It is being started as part of our effort to make alternative medicine, including Ayurveda, accessible to everyone at a reasonable cost and with health benefits. The college wants to see Ayurveda become more popular worldwide. Offering top-notch teaching and research facilities, Ashwini Ayurvedic College boasts a committed faculty, fully-stocked laboratories, a pharmacy, a 200-bed hospital, and a demonstration herbal garden.
The Aruna Educational Trust, which was established in 1995 with the intention of advancing medical and paramedical programs, is the parent organization of Ashwini Ayurvedic College. The institute’s chairman is Dr. K.G. Rathavendra, M.B.B.S., DLO.The greatest Ayurvedic education in the state is now synonymous with Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College. a name that gives the suffering human race a fresh start.
