Founded in 2004, Amrita School of Ayurveda & Research Centre is a private college located in Kollaam. The college offers 60 seats annually and is associated with Kerala’s Amrita Vishwavidyalaya Preetam (Deemed University).
Mata Amritanandamayi Math Trust is the manager of the 2004-founded Amrita School of Ayurveda in Amritapuri. Under the kind direction of its founder and spiritual leader, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, the college has grown into a prominent Ayurvedic education hub both nationally and globally.
Research and production of Ayurvedic medications are carried out by the Ayurveda Hospital and Research Centre, which is a part of the Amrita School of Ayurveda. The Institution is located on 25 acres of stunning property next to Kerala’s backwaters. It is accessible from the Ashram headquarters and is two miles west of Karunagappally on NH-47 in the Kollam District. Its 200,000 square foot total built-up space is divided between the school and a 250-bed connected hospital. The college offers certificate programs in Panchakarma and Ayurvedic Pharmacy in addition to the BAMS graduate program.
