About College
Established in 1999 is the Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre. The institution is situated inside the city limits in a calm environment that is ideal for learning, 3 km from the Yelahanaka train station and bus stop. There is an indoor auditorium, reading room, and well-stocked library on campus. There is a display herbal garden with over 250 therapeutic species. There is enough room at the college for an administration office, classrooms, clinical and teaching departments, a dissection theater, a lab, a museum, a practical hall, and restrooms for students. The departments are roomy and furnished with cutting edge, contemporary teaching aids, labs, museums, and practical halls. Classrooms today use OHPs, LCD projects, and other modern technology. The hospital’s and college’s operations can be better monitored thanks to digital CCTV. Yoga is taught on a regular basis as part of the curriculum. In addition, lessons in spoken English are scheduled to help the students become more proficient communicators. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, the Government of Karnataka, and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore recognize Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital, and Research Center.
