About College

In August 1990, the esteemed founder Dr. Patangrao Kadam founded the College. A component of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), the College of Ayurved is approved by the Department of AYUSH and the Central Council of Indian Medicine of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. The National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) in Bangalore has granted Bharti Vidyapeeth University’s College of Ayurveda a new accreditation with a grade of “A+.”

It is situated within Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Dhankawadi Educational Complex. The well-planned college building houses a library with a reading room and internet access, as well as well-equipped labs, a dissection lounge, large demonstration halls, museums, and classrooms. The college maintains a herb garden with over 298 different varieties of medicinal plants. Not many threatened plant species may be found here. Modern machinery is set up at our pharmacy to produce a range of traditional Ayurvedic remedies. There is a large library at the college. It features an expansive reading room and a tastefully decorated area with over 22,026 volumes on Ayurvedic and related therapies. The library has subscriptions to essential scientific journals. The 200-bed Ayurvedic Hospital is owned by the college. Many patients visit our OPDs and IPDs, which helps our students gain more clinical experience.
