Akola, Maharashtra, India’s Shri Radhakisan Toshniwal Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is a school devoted to the study and application of Ayurveda, a traditional medical system with roots in ancient India. The acclaimed social reformer and philanthropist Shri Radhakisan Toshniwal is honored by the name of the college. In 1955, Shri Radhakisan Toshniwal Ayurved Mahavidyalaya was founded.
Ayurvedic undergraduate and graduate programs are available at the Shri Radhakisan Toshniwal Ayurved Mahavidyalaya. These programs include the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and the Doctor of Medicine (MD) in a number of specializations. The college is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Government of India. It is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.
