Located in Kolhapur, the Late Kedari Redekar Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya is a private college. The Central Council of Indian Medicines has granted Kedari Redekar Ayurvedic College Kolhapur its approval and it is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. There are many different kinds of therapeutic plants in herbal gardens. Rare plants are grown here and used to prepare Ayurvedic medicines for research purposes. To keep the herbal gardens maintained, there is a dedicated staff of gardeners. On the site of the Late Kedari Redekar Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya is a sizable hospital complex with 272 IP patient beds and eight daily OP sessions. It has state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic amenities, such as operation theaters, a cutting-edge biochemistry lab, an X-ray unit, an ECG, and more.
