About College
Founded in 1992, Shri S.B.S. Ayurved Medical College is a private college located in Gadag. The college is connected to the Karnataka-based Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore.
With the sole goal of reviving and developing the Indian System of Medicine, the College aims to produce graduates of profound scholarship with in-depth scientific knowledge of ayurveda in accordance with the ayurvedic fundamentals associated with extensive practical training. These graduates would also be effective teachers, researchers, and Kaya Chikitaka (Physician) and Shalya Chikitaka (Surgeon) physicians.
The college library is enormous, with thousands of volumes dedicated to complementary and alternative medicine.The reading hall of the library is large.In addition to providing top-notch clinical facilities, the college hosts a variety of academic events, such as seminars and workshops at the state and national levels, to enhance students’ educational experiences.
The college’s faculty is made up of senior instructors who have been carefully chosen and have a strong focus on research. There are separate dorms for guys and girls at the campus.It follows that it is not surprising that students from all around India attend the college.
