In terms of developing high standards of instruction, training, research, and patient care in all facets of the Ayurvedic System of Medicine with a scientific approach, JD Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, is the leading Ayurvedic institution in North India. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, have recognized the Institute, which specializes in teaching, clinical practice, and research at the undergraduate level. It is also affiliated with Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra (formerly known as Agra University Agra), and it is affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The Common Pre Medical Entrance Examination, administered by the Association of Private Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathic Medical Colleges, U.P., is the basis for admission to the UG course of BAMS. The All India J.D. Educational Society, which was constituted under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, founded the Institute on July 3, 2003.Thirteen members make up the institute’s governing body, which writes essays. An Institutional Ethical Committee oversees, controls, and evaluates different research ideas inside the Institute.
