About College
The Government Ayurveda College & Hospital was founded in 2012, and after receiving approval from the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi, the first batch of undergraduate students was admitted in October 2014. The college’s course intake capacity was 60 seats, but starting in 2018, it was more than 75 seats. This is the second government institution in the northern region of Chhattisgarh offering Ayurvedic education and healthcare. This college pays particular focus to its health education program in Chhattisgarh’s outlying villages.
The institution provides a four and a half-year Ayurvedaacharya Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.) program that includes a mandatory one-year internship.The college has 60 seats available for the B.A.M.S. program each year.
Situated in the center of Bilaspur, the college building is designed according to the principles of Ayurveda (Nyaydhani).The 14 Departments have all been formed to the highest standards by Apex CCIM, New Delhi, and are equipped with modern infrastructure. ⦁ All scientific and clinical laboratories, including a. Rachana Sharir (Human Anatomy), b. Kriya Sharir (Human Physiology), c. Roga Nidana (Pathology), d. Dravya Guna (Ayurvedic Pharmacology), and e. Agada Tantra (Toxicology), are well-established and dedicated to teaching the precise concepts of Ayurveda.
helpful reference books in several areas, as well as a variety of national periodicals, news sources, e-materials, etc., with space for 50 people to sit. The e-library of the library is well-equipped to offer staff and students greater value.
