Himalayiya Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was founded as a result of the founders’ deep-seated suffering over the inadequate quality and care they received from Ayurveda. It is more than just an institute; its founders’ narrative is a petition to the god Dhanwantari.
It is a commendable endeavor to advance the subject of Ayurveda while also preserving its age-old essence and benefiting society. The institute was founded on February 16, 2005, under the name “Himalayiya Ayurvedic Yog Ewam Prakritik Chikitsa Sansthan” as a result of the combined efforts of the Chief Patron, Honorable Chairman, Honorable Secretary, and other patrons.
The desire came true on August 7, 2006, when the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi, approved the institute. Nestled in the verdant surroundings of Shyampur, the institute is rapidly realizing the aspirations of its founders. With the help of highly skilled personnel and those who are willing to go above and beyond in their work, the institute is transforming the once dim realm of Ayurveda into a bright future. The institute makes its fifty students who are admitted each year feel fortunate to be studying Ayurveda.
In the heart of Shyampur’s verdant surroundings, HAMC&H occupies approximately ten acres of land with its herb garden plants at Sambhavna, a multi-story structure outfitted with a wide range of contemporary amenities.The college’s major goal is to serve Ayurveda with love, and it does so by combining strong departments with state-of-the-art facilities.
Generous, well-lit halls furnished with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment facilitate unhindered knowledge sharing.A vast library with over 10,000 books that will satisfy the curiosity of future physicians. The room can hold 50 students at once and provide a serene and tranquil study environment.adequate living facilities in separate hostels for boys and females.
