Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College

The institute was founded in 2001 with the goal of advancing the Indian medical system, and Dr. Ashawani Kamboj served as its chairman. The director of this institute, Dr. Sumit Kamboj, is now running it well. The institute currently offers several short-term courses in addition to the MD in Ayurveda, BAMS in Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery, BYNS in Yogic Science, MA in Yoga, and PG in Yogic Science. In addition, the institute operates a 100-bed hospital with state-of-the-art medical amenities, including a yoga center, physiotherapy, and panchkarma departments.

The Institute is sanctioned by the Uttarakhand government, recognized by NCISM, and permitted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, New Dehli, Government of India. It is also affiliated with the Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun, and the Uttarkhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar. The management is committed to making this institute a world-class model academic center for yogic sciences and ayurvedic education that serves not just the people of Uttarakhand but the entire world.
