About College
The late Ashtavaidyan E.T. Neelakandan Mooss established Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College on October 2, 1976. The college is currently run by the Vaidyaratnam Ayurvedic Educational Society, which is recognized by the Literary, Scientific, and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII/1955. The college offers the B.A.M.S. degree (Ayurveda acharya) and is associated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences. The Central Council of Indian Medicines (CCIM) has approved the course, which has a five and a half-year duration and forty available seats per year.
