On June 26, 1933, Pune’s first and oldest ‘AYURVEDA MAHAVIDYALAYA’ was founded. 1962 saw the establishment of “Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya” under the leadership of Hon. Chief Minister Shri Yashvantrao Chavan. With a 75-year history, Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya has produced notable physicians for the community. As of right now, this institute has graduated about 7000 UG students and 1100 PG students, all of them are employed successfully in a variety of disciplines. This institution is supported by the Maharashtra state government. connected to Nashik’s Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
