One of the top Ayurvedic medical colleges in northern India is Shri Dhanwantari P.G. Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Center. associated with Agra, Uttar Pradesh’s Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. The college is located in the holy city of Mathura, where Lord Krishna was born, on N.H. 2 near Delhi.
By producing a new breed of Ayurvedic doctors who are both intellectually and professionally prepared to handle the demands of the contemporary world, Shri Dhanwantri P.G. Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Center is taking a novel approach to fusing traditional beliefs with current medical technology.
Established in 2009, the Shri Dhanwantri P.G. Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Centre is overseen by the Shri Anand Niketan Haramshala Avom Dharmik Trust. Under the kind direction of its Chairman, Shri Gopal Dass Kaushik, the college has grown into a prominent Ayurvedic education hub both nationally and regionally.
Research and production of Ayurvedic medications are carried out at the college’s Ayurveda Hospital and Research Centre. The Institution is located on NH-2, Village Semri, Mathura, on ten acres of land. Its 1,00,000 square foot total built-up space is divided between the college and a 250-bed connected hospital. Every department, conference space, classroom, and laboratory complies with CCIM standards.The college offers postgraduate studies in nine distinct fields of Ayurveda in addition to the 100-seat BAMS graduate degree.
