About College
Established in 2008–09, the non-profit, non-minority Shri Siddhivinayaka Rural Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Harugeri, is the brainchild of Dr. Laxman S. Jambagi, Sole trustee of the Shri S.S. Jambagi Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. The College occupies a 14.08-acre site located on Gokak Athani Main Road in Harugeri, Taluka Raibag, Belagavi District, State Karnataka. This is its permanent building. The CCIM and CCH standards were followed in the architectural design and construction of the college buildings.
A college offering traditional medicine (Ayurveda) instruction to rural populations is situated in Harugeri town, an educational and economic hub. It has been an honor to train students from all across India for the past ten years. Growing into a reputable medical institution, Shri Siddhivinayaka Rural Ayurvedic Medical College offers top-notch medical education and instills in the next generation of students an SPIRIT OF SERVICE TO SOCIETY. The colleges have been accredited by the CCIM / Ayush for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi, and are associated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore.
