About College
The J.V. Mandal’s Grameen Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Center (GAMCH & RC) at Shri Bahubali Vidhyapeeth was founded in 1997–1998 to address the growing need for Ayurvedic education and to bring this age-old medical system back to life. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, the Government of Karnataka, and the Government of India all acknowledge the college, which is associated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
The classrooms of GAMCH & RC are roomy, have good ventilation, and have cozy seating configurations. Every classroom has an OHP, LCD, white board, and black board. The Institute’s cutting-edge facilities and technology assistance enable effective instruction, learning, and student personality development. The most recent multimedia technology and audio-visual aids allow the teachers to conduct dynamic lessons that spread confidence and excitement among the students.The college is divided into 14 departments, each of which has the necessary equipment, furnishings, models, charts, specimens, other MSR-required infrastructure.
Laboratories: GAMCH & RC has distinct, well-equipped laboratories for each of its departments. Every lab is furnished with models, specimens, charts, stimulators, mannequins, and other items required for demonstrating procedures. Demonstrations and student practice of operations under supervision take place in laboratories.
The library at GAMCH & RC is a knowledge repository, housing over 10,000 current edition volumes. It also features internet access, a Helinet connection that allows users to browse, and access to more than 2000 medical publications. The library uses a digital library to expand its services.
