One of the well-known colleges in Uttar Pradesh is SRM Government Ayurvedic College, located near Bareilly. Another name for the college is Govt. Ayurvedic College, Bareilly. It is located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, in Bareilly. It was founded in 1966. This college only has 40 seats available for the BAMS course. The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) has accepted and recognized the State Ayurvedic College and Hospital Bareilly, and it is associated with Chatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. BAMS, which lasts 5½ years and consists of 4½ academic sessions and 1 year of internship, is offered by this college. Only male students are able to use the hostel facilities.
In Bansmandi, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, there is a government ayurvedic college and hospital called Sahu Ram Narayan Murlimanohar. three kilometers between the Bareilly railway station and the old roads bus stop (Bareilly Junction ).
The Uttar Pradesh government oversees this college, and forty BAMS students are allowed each year. Sahu Ram Narayan Murlimanohar Dharmarth Aushdhalaya (Charitable Hospital) was its previous name. Following 1965, the same structure housed a temple, a molasus godown (Sheera godown), and an Aushdhalaya. Over time, the temple and Molasus godown were relocated to a new location.
