About College
Government-run Govt. Gurukul Kangri Ayurvedic College & Hospital was founded in 1922 in the city of Haridwar. The college, which has an annual intake of 50 seats, is associated with Sri H.N. Bhuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarkhand.
The 25-acre college has been serving humanity since 1919 and has amassed many assets thanks to the hard work of many devoted individuals, including Dr. R.K. Gupta, Dr. Pooja Bhardwaj, and Vaidya Mukundilal Dwivedi Ji, Vaidya Yadav Ji Trikam Ji, and Vaidya Haridutt Shastri. Currently, Uttrakhand Ayurved University Dehradun has this college as a campus. It features a well-equipped teaching block with high-quality classrooms and audio-visual equipment. The Department of P.G. Deptt of Shalya tantra kaya chikitsa, which includes panchakarma Stri roga and Prasuti tantra, Shalakya tantra, and Kaumar Bhritya, is one of the departments housed at Sushruta Bhawan. The departments of Rachna Sharir, Kriya Sharir, Samhita, Sanskrit, and Sidhanta are housed in the anatomy department building.
