Mai Bhago Ayurvedic Medical College for Women

Established in 1996, Mai Bhago Ayurvedic Medical College is a private college located in Muktsar. With a yearly intake of 50 seats, the college is associated with the Punjabi Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, headquartered in Faridkot.
The Mai Bhago Ayurvedic College in Muktsar was established in loving remembrance of “MAI BHAGO,” a female fighter who gave the warriors who were on the run new life. As a result, the college owes its inception to the ideals linked to our illustrious past, great heroic and philanthropic traditions. Run by the Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society (Regd.), Muktsar, the college bears the same name as the man who turned the defenseless “SPARROWS” into the fierce “BAAZ”—Gurugud Singh Singh Ji. It upholds the noble principles of self-improvement, sacrifice, and service.In July 1995, S. Harcharan Singh Ji Brar, the then-honorable chief minister of Punjab, opened Mai Bhago Ayurvedic Medical College in Muktsar. It is the only institution in Punjab for females to study Ayurveda and the second college in northern India. Our organization has been providing the community with unaided, self-financing private ayurvedic education since 1995. The college is associated with Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur (Punjab), and approved by the Punjabi government, the Central Council of Indian Medicine, and the Ministry of AYUSH in New Delhi.
