About College
The private college known as Jammu Institute of Ayurved & Research was founded in 1999. With an annual intake of 90 seats, the college is associated with Jammu University, which is situated in Jammu and Kashmir.
As a division of the Shri Sain Charitable Trust, the Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research College (JIAR) has been offering its services in the field of Ayurveda since 1999. It is one of the top institutions offering top-notch instruction and training in Ayurvedic medicine, and the only Ayurvedic college with a significant presence in the J&K state’s medical community. The college boasts a large infrastructure, ample equipment, and highly qualified staff members with ample expertise to support students’ academic and personal growth. The institution is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and has all the amenities of a modern campus, including a library, reading room, lab, and dormitory for both boys and girls. It also has a herb garden, a dissection hall, a museum, a canteen, and more.
College Hospital has 140 beds and is located on the college’s grounds. Every day, around 200 patients receive treatment at the OPD. Additionally, IPD facilities are open around-the-clock, and patients in IPD are attended to by specialists and paramedical personnel.
