About College
One of the well-known private ayurvedic colleges in Goa is Bharatiya Sanskriti Prabodhinis Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Research Centre. Founded in 1992, GAMRC Goa college is often referred to as Gomantak Ayurved College Goa.The college accepts 60 students each year for admission.
The BAMS program (Ayurvedacharya) lasts for four and a half years, plus an additional year of internship. The four university examinations that students must appear for are the Ist B.A.M.S., IInd B.A.M.S., IIIrd B.A.M.S. exam, which is held every year (after 12 months), and the IV B.A.M.S. exam, which is held at the conclusion of a full year.The Goa government, the CCIM, and the central government’s Department of Indian systems of medicine, AYUSH, have all authorized the course.
