About College
In honor of the late “SHRI JUG MAHADEV JI CHANDRAKAR,” “Shri Jug Mahadev Education Society (SJMES), Durg” is the organization that oversees Bharti Ayurved Medical College & Hospital. It was founded in 1997. The mission of the Shri Jug Mahadev Education Society was to establish top-notch, world-class educational facilities in Durg, Bhilai, the commercial hub of Chhattisgarh.
At Bharti, we have a strong commitment to developing leaders who are not just competent experts but also decent people with morals and sanskars. We routinely rank among the top colleges for a variety of reasons, this being just one of them. The society’s goal is to provide top-notch instruction, research, and Ayurvedic medicine—a traditional kind of healing. AYUSH and C.C.I.M. required approvals were obtained, and the institute opened for business for the 2016–17 academic year. There is a 100 student maximum intake for the four and a half (4 ½) year B.A.M.S program.
