About College
Ayurveda College Coimbatore was founded in 1978 at Panthan Jalipuri, Mankarai, and moved to Sulur in 2000. It is located in the Manchester city of South India. Ayurveda College Coimbatore is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine [CCIM], New Delhi, and is associated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai.
P.V. Rama Warrier’s tireless efforts to establish the college and raise awareness of this comprehensive science over the globe were initially responsible for its founding. These days, the college is regarded as one of the top Ayurvedic institutions in the nation, offering distinction in the fields of academics, clinicals, and research. One of the top organizations for advancing science worldwide is Arya Vaidhya Pharmacy [AVP], with which Ayurveda College has a close relationship.
The college features a 100-bed, fully operational Ayurvedic hospital with round-the-clock medical care provided by highly qualified and effective faculty. Throughout the previous fifty years, AVC has had the honor of providing the community with skilled Ayurvedic practitioners.
The college’s location is superbly serene, adding to the musical experience of learning. We can never learn as much from literature as we can from nature. Approximately 200 unique medicinal plants are cultivated on a huge scale in the college’s herbal garden. The large, well-ventilated classrooms make for comfortable learning environments.
Library: A vast range of contemporary medical materials and ancient ayurvedic writings can be found in the college library. Thanks to the campus’s free, 24-hour WiFi and digitalized library, staying up to date is made simple.
We guarantee a campus free of violence for the students. Within the college’s grounds is a fully equipped, hygienic hostel featuring a dedicated study space.
Beyond the classroom, students are urged to participate in a range of extracurricular activities to improve their quality of life and discover their hidden talents through yearly cultural programs at the institution. According to Charaka, “kindness is the fundamental ethics of Ayurveda,” and the students learn the delight of serving patients in order to encourage healthy life. The privilege of belonging to this organization is undoubtedly valuable.
