About College
One of the most renowned educational institutions for studying Ayurveda is Shri B M Kankanwadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. The college is located in the Karnataka district of Belgaum, at Shahapur. 1933 saw the establishment of the college. The Karnataka Liberal Education Society oversees the college. A part of Bangalore’s Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) is Shri B M Kankanwadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. The Karnataka government has granted the college recognition. The Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, has approved the courses this college offers.
